AG Monorail Systems
The Access Group’s monorail system comprises a permanently installed aluminium track complete with either single or double suspension trolleys. Our standard range monorails run horizontally and can be roof, face or soffit mounted.
Our unique RS127 monorail operates in conjunction with our patented Roslift climbing trolley to provide access to curved, sloping or tapered facades. It can be fixed to an incline of any angle including vertical. The trolley works on the friction between its wheels and the track. The system has been designed to work in all weather conditions, even on wet or frosty tracks, making it an effective all year round solution.
Designed to blend with the architecture, each of our monorails are offered with natural anodised finish as standard, but can be powder coated to a RAL colour of your choice.
Used in conjunction with a demountable cradle, which enables vertical movement up and down the façade, the suspension trolley allows the cradle to traverse horizontally along the façade. These trolleys can be either manual or motorised.
AG Inclined Monorail System
Incorporating the unique AG Roslift climbing trolley, the RS127 Monorail System can be installed at any angle of incline, even vertically. The system operates on friction between the trolley and the track and provides an all year round access solution. The RS127 Monorail System can also incorporate horizontal twists and curves to match even the most demanding architecture. As the system is friction based, the track is supplied with a mill finish as standard, although a natural anodised finish can also be provided.
AG Horizontal Monorail System
The RS133 is a patented Monorail system which can be used in almost all horizontal applications. The system is unique in that it will allow a travelling gantry and suspended cradle to operate simultaneously, passing each other freely on the same track. In addition, the RS133 Monorail system enables top, bottom and side fixing when use in conjunction with our CE Approved two-person cradle unit. It can be installed at up to 3.2m centres, although wider spans can be achieved with lighter loads. This “designed” extrusion can be supplied with either a mill or natural anodise finish or can be powder coated to most RAL colours of your choice.
AG Concealed Monorail System
Fixed to ceilings or soffits, the RS110/RS162 Concealed Monorail System is virtually invisible when installed and is the perfect solution when aesthetics are of the utmost importance. It is also very cost-effective in situations where long, straight runs are required. The profile can be supplied with either a mill or natural anodise finish or can be powder coated to most RAL colours of your choice.
