AG Eye Bolt Anchor Systems
Eyebolts are a simple, cost effective and discrete solution for protecting operatives when undertaking routine maintenance work, such as window cleaning. Conforming to BS EN 795 as Class A1 single point anchor devices, we provide two main types of eyebolt: the AG Safe Ring and Latchways Pushlock®.
With both types of eyebolt anchorage, operatives wear a full body harness and connect to them by way of a suitable shock-absorbing lanyard. As the eye bolt is intended to protect operatives when exposed to a fall risk, it is essential they are able to connect to it from a safe area.
AG Safe Ring
The AG Safe Ring is available in galvanised, nylon coated or stainless steel and is suitable for installation to a wide range of substrates, including load-bearing concrete, masonry and steelwork. Accordingly, the Safe Ring can be used in most standard applications in offices, hotels etc where access for external window cleaning is needed internally.
The Pushlock®
The Pushlock® is manufactured in 316 marine grade stainless steel and comprises a permanently installed socket used in conjunction with a removable eyebolt and is suitable for fixing to a wide variety of structures. When the eyebolt is removed from the socket, all that is visible is a small cover disc which sits flush with the wall, making the system ideal for applications where aesthetics are of high importance.
