Specifying the right System
The key to safe and efficient systems for working at height is the anticipation of all necessary building maintenance activity early in the design stage and prior to construction commencing.
An essential part of the design process is an understanding of which areas of the building envelope will require regular maintenance. Only once this has been determined and the frequency of work established is it possible to select the most appropriate access system. The Access Group works closely with designers in providing advice on the most appropriate façade access and fall protection systems for their building.
Our Design and Specification services ensures all systems, proposed or otherwise, comply fully with relevant legislation, including European and British Standards and guidelines implemented by the Specialist Access Engineering and Maintenance Association [SAEMA], Health and Safety Executive [HSE] and the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association [IRATA]
